Connector Specialists acquires Bluestar Industries

Connector Specialists, Inc. is proud to announce its acquisition of Bluestar Industries, LLC and Bluestar Ace Machine, LLC. The deal was finalized on January 15^th.

Bluestar Industries has been the primary Parker tri-technology distributor in Memphis since they acquired Fluid Power Technologies back in 2006. Prior to that, Fluid Power of Memphis (founded in 1967 and later changed to Fluid Power Technologies) was the Parker fluid power distributor for western Tennessee, north Mississippi, and the eastern extreme of Arkansas. That sales geography represents a significant expansion into a diversified marketplace for Connector Specialists. Bluestar’s name and branding will be changing to match the rest of the Connector Specialists brand in the coming months.

Ace Machine & Fabrication has been a Memphis industrial fixture since 1970. Specializing in CNC component manufacturing, cylinder repair, and welding and fabrication, Ace was acquired by Bluestar in 2017. Their unique capabilities are an exciting strategic fit for Connector Specialists. Their branding will revert to what they’ve been known as in Memphis for nearly 50 years: Ace Machine.
